Crucial Success Skills Forged Through My Journey

Conducting efficient research work requires skills such as strong academic writing, domain knowledge, analysis, critical thinking, secondary research, time management, research methods, and information literacy. Incorporating these research skills is essential in conducting research for any product, service, and market. I am an “Independent Researcher" with “30 Solo Research Papers” in the World’s Reputed Books and Journals, without a Ph.D. degree and in nearly three years.

I have been awarded the title of the "Best Woman Researcher of The Year" - (Category - Below 35 years) during the “4th International Inspirational Women Awards - (IIWA), 2023” in New Delhi. I have also been conferred the prestigious “Shiksha Bharati Award”, in 2023 by the “Indian Achievers Forum” in recognition of my extraordinary professional achievements and contribution towards nation-building. I have also been a Nominee for the “Padma Shri Award – 2024”.

Also, One of my published works includes a chapter on “Market for Plant-Based Meat Alternatives”, which I contributed to the book titled “Environmental, Health, and Business Opportunities in the New Meat Alternatives Market”. This book won the #Best Book In The World in the Prestigious 25th Gourmand Awards, in 2020. Gourmand Award is considered the “Oscars of Food And Wine Publications” across the world.

The book also became the “National Winner in Australia” in 2019, in the category of “Vegetarian Writing”. One of my published chapters, "Impact of Mood of the Millennial Customers on Purchase of Apparels Online," published by IGI Global, USA, was chosen to be included as a "Reprinted Chapter" in 2021 for the book "Research Anthology on E-Commerce Adoption, Models, and Applications for Modern Business (3 Volumes)" by the "Information Resources Management Association (USA).

Currently, I also serve as an "Editorial Review Board Member" for the International Journal of Enterprise Information Systems (IJEIS, USA), International Journal of Applied Management Theory and Research (IJAMTR, USA), and International Journal of Strategic Management and Innovation (IJSMI, USA). I am also a Peer Reviewer for several publications with renowned publishers such as IGI Global, USA, and Common Ground Research Networks journals & books.

Crafting Creative Opportunities from Every Challenge

I approach adversity by keeping Strong faith. I started my career as any typical B.Tech and MBA individual would do. But even after changing 3 jobs in three different cities, I was not satisfied with what I was doing. I had left my job in 2020. At that junction from 2019 itself, I was also going through a major Personal setback in my life. I was going through the worst, where every day was a challenge for me.

It was during this time only, that, one fine day, my mother told me “Why don't you Start Writing of your own? Why don't you make an Identity of your own? And since that day, My path changed completely. I started “Working for Myself, By Myself”. On the Professional front, when I chose this career path, I had no idea whether I was going to succeed in it. What will be the returns? I had no one to teach me how to do things.

I had to learn every bit from scratch all by myself. Also, I was not being paid for anything. I had no Ph.D. degree. All I was focused, was on doing something different, breaking the stereotypes, and not following the conventional path in academics. There were many times when I was broken, but I stood up every time. And, all, I can say today, is that I could Survive, Made it Through, and Succeeded due to the blessings and Grace of “God” and my “Three Lifelines – My Mother, My Father, And My Brother”.

Lessons learned in my journey till now:

1. Keep a positive approach

2. Be rooted to your roots

3. Have faith, that Every Cloud has a Silver Lining

My Impact

From studying the market to various technologies to advanced statistical analysis tools, researchers can now reveal insights and accordingly act on them. As a researcher, I feel the responsibilities are not only limited to the rigorous study design, precise data collection, secure data storage, and fair allocation of credits. It is at times good to voice your opinion on different latest services, solutions, products, technologies, and industries.

Promoting my research on scientific social websites helps cater to a large number of researchers who can probably get an idea about any particular topic and cite the work if they feel it is relevant. Also, I feel my research can convey my ideas about new and innovative topics to a larger group of society and act as an inspiration to peer and budding researchers.

Scaling New Heights in Personal and Professional Triumphs

Success never comes easy. When I started on this unknown path without knowing anything, I was completely clueless. Balancing both personal and professional fronts was extremely difficult. But today, when my work is getting appreciated, I feel honored. Without hindrances, I think the real joy of success cannot be felt. If there are tough times and challenges in your life, do not give up.

To be the best, you must be able to handle challenges as well. Be determined to walk through all the hurdles and make your way through, and if there is no way, make a way yourself. But never give up. I firmly believe in two things - “Not Giving Up”, and “Being focused and dedicated to achieving my goals, keeping my integrity as a priority always”. These are the success mantras that I have set for myself in my life.

The Synergy Between My Path and Recognition Values

WAHStory is a knowledge sharing and storytelling platform, to empower and inspire people across the world. And I believe, my journey also has a story that can inspire someone somewhere across.
