Terms and Conditions for WAHStory Virtual Awards

1. Eligibility and Nomination

  • Age and Professional Criteria: Open to individuals of age, starting from 20-50, who can share compelling success stories.
  • Geographic Eligibility: Nominations Accepted Globally! Participants of all nationalities are encouraged to apply.
  • Nomination Process: Participants can nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Submissions should include details of skills acquired, challenges overcome, impact made, achievements, and reasons for recognition. The submission deadline will be clearly communicated on the WAHStory website.

2. Nomination Fee and Refund Policy

  • Fee: ₹9999/- per nomination (Early Bird Discount from the standard fee of ₹15000).
  • Refund Policy: If a nomination does not meet the outlined criteria for nomination, WAHStory will refund the fee within 7-10 days post-evaluation.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Participants retain ownership of their submissions.
  • By participating, nominees grant WAHStory a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for promotional purposes.

4. Disclaimer on Selection and Awards

  • Selection is merit-based, as judged by an impartial panel.
  • The nomination fee is for processing and does not guarantee an award.

5. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

  • WAHStory's liability is limited in connection with the awards.
  • Nominees agree to indemnify WAHStory against claims arising from their submissions.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Personal data will be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws and will only be used for award-related purposes.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • All legal matters will be addressed under Indian law, within the jurisdiction of India.

8. Amendment and Cancellation Rights

  • WAHStory reserves the right to amend these terms or cancel the awards, with adequate notice provided to participants.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • Participation in the awards implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

10. Conduct and Disqualification

  • Participants are expected to engage respectfully on the platform.
  • Misconduct or rule violations may lead to disqualification.
